- Are you game to put out the flame? Youth age 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) or 15-20 years old are cordially invited to team up with the Central Ohio Joint Fire District and the Exploring program to learn more about the exciting careers awaiting them in the firefighting and emergency services field! The District’s Firefighters and EMS personnel will volunteer their time to guide students in hands-on activities and teach students about the firefighting and emergency response techniques they use to respond to various situations. Students interested in feelin’ the burn in this fun job-shadowing opportunity may come to the Post’s Open House on Monday, September 13th at 6:00pm at the Fire District’s Station (5138 Columbus Rd, Centerburg OH 43011). Students may bring their friends and parents are encouraged to attend! Have a question? Want to RSVP?
